Where you'll learn.
Wilderness surrounds Fairbanks, yet highways, airlines, fiber and satellites firmly connect it to the world. So you can attend and earn your degree online from anywhere.
In Fairbanks, you’ll find the Troth Yeddha’ Campus, the UAF Community and Technical College and the Interior Alaska Campus. Beyond, regional campuses serve Kotzebue, Bethel, Nome and Dillingham. Research sites can take you to Kodiak in the south, Juneau in the east and Toolik Lake above the Arctic Circle.

Delta arborist to lead workshops on pruning, milling, chainsaw maintenance
June 10, 2025
Three workshops in Delta Junction this month will focus on tree pruning techniques, operating a portable sawmill and chainsaw maintenance. Jesse Roman, a licensed arborist who recently moved to Delta Junction, will lead the in-person workshops, which are hosted by the University of Alaska Fairbanks Cooperative Extension Service and Partners for Progress in Delta.
UAF research features in global marine megafauna study

UAF researchers contributed to a new study in the journal Science which aims to improve marine conservation efforts by identifying the busiest migration corridors and critical habitats of the oceans' largest species.
